Shawn Lindsay speaking

A Judge Who Knows New Orleans, and Has Spent 20 Years Proving It

Shawn Lindsay has spent his career standing up for the people of New Orleans, inside the courtroom and in the community. After more than 20 years serving this city, he's running for judge to ensure that every person who walks into that courtroom is treated with fairness, integrity, and respect.

As Deputy City Attorney, Shawn has been on the front lines of the legal challenges that shape New Orleans, defending the city's zoning decisions, landmark preservation rulings, and public health ordinances. He knows the stakes. He knows the law. And he knows what it costs when the courts get it wrong.

"

I have dedicated over twenty years of my career to serving the people of New Orleans, and I am deeply committed to this community. When I walk into that courtroom as judge, I'm going to bring with me everything I know about this city, its people, and what fairness actually looks like in practice. That's not a promise I'm making to win an election. It's a commitment I've already been living for twenty years.
